EDITORIAL.
We feel that in the archives of the Div Engs this passing week will be known and recorded as “Holer Week “.ln ec ition of this occasion we can but devote one editorial to the most essential feature of camp life .Attached by fragrant memory to the camp of Div Engs is the villa of Berchtesgaden .Renovations over the last week have added a new touch of glamour to this much-vi‘shrine .Commanding a wide view of the mens’ lines its charm and simplicity are such: that no man can feel the daycomplete without at least one visit to this spot. Ther e, drawn by some forces stronger than himself', man is man. Stripped of the trappings that convention.; demands he shrouds his true self, man sits and thinks. Soma*but think - while: others but sit — . Yeti-all are drawn by the same inner ,urge. Their features record their base emotions.. Hesitation, fear, suspense - and shock all mark the faces of its • inhabitants. Yet,to , each in turn comes relief at last. He. finds himself feeling lighter-- the weight has passed away,and,for a while at least, all is we 11. He once more clothes himself in his outer garments and departs, leaving behind him some small token of things that have been. « Passing o’er the jagged teeth. ” * Thru channels safely passed . r a Now tossed no'more by-motions,J r ,
