We have bid au revoir to Sapper (Ted) Edwardss.The Army in its misguided wisdom has decided that his efforts can be better turned to the prosecution of the War than acting as cartoonist for ' the •’Peoples Vice”. History ? will prove their mistake .In the meantime we can but show our appreciation' of Ted’s, efforts tointroduce & little culture and happiness into the lives of men at this, camp .A hopeless task as well your Editor knows.but Ted could yet try, he laboured to that end.
All personnel will Join with us -in, voicing our thanks and approval ‘of ‘ the American Concert Par .With vivid memories of the many happy picture nights at DOW and the flop created by ' the .. .authorities when they took control with the ’Mobile®Cinema’ we shudder to think what woul<i happen if they could .but get their teeth into something like the ’Concert’.
i7e have been blessed (or otherwise) by the company of three sappers from Pd Park. Being members of ’The Rotater ’ clan we are not surprised to see them move in aimless circles.
' This week; will mark the return of Grandpa Pell and his gentle bride (nee Miss Civil).This loving couple have been honeymooning at Noumea. After a week of the hard gay city Jife they ill no doubt be only to glad to return to the. tranquility of ,heir country home...( You old rascal Bob ).. '
