The night was bright with theatrical light There was moonshine on the stage As each sarg. discharged to the world a' large Hu share in the sacrilege. Where dung was flung in <m.ch chorus sung And rubbed in herd /at that? And jokes wore pokes at officer blokes And not even tho beer was flat. * With chaffs and laughs from lugubrious Staffs And a boss from tho R S.m.
