EDITORIAL
• Many questions have been asked about, the magazine and we lave also received-.some'suggestions together with constructive --riticism. This has been welcomed by the Editors, who consider that ■he magazine is "for the benefit of the Regiment, as a whole and herefore .the views, ofall • should be reflected' therein. The purpose of this editorial is briefly to summarise the position with which she. Editors are faced. The main difficulties encountered are paper, Printing, and. time. Paper is in extremely . short . supply- which accounts for the small- number "of. copies issued. The 5 cents charge made. on the Cmas number covered the cost of the paper used and. left sufficient so print., a limited number of the New Year issue. Owing ,to the limited facilities available it is difficult to maintain a regular issue, out with the advice, help and patience of readers it is hoped that the .future will see a more elaborate and regular -issue of' the 28th,Heavy ' x ’bws.‘ The Editdrs note with pleasure that the 33rd. Regiment has commenced the issue of a magazine entitled .’tGunflash”, and on behalf of the 28th.&egiment convey best wishes' for its- future. .'
