A bright o-fen type of play was pre* aomina-nt and mistakes due to lack of practice wore the only' reason, tho Nay yd id not put up qu-ltrr a wnsidor* able score. Th was the ©loss efforts of the 159 forwards who pre** vented a revers a.l of the final result Little criticism can be levelled at the home side’s ploy, though it was a .very'diff erent style of ’ game, from t. at played by the visitors, whose game, being typically British, was reminiscent of. the exhibitions which we enjoyed so much when an English International touring side . were our guests in 1930,
