A young subaltern, preparatory to taking a jaunt, in- the local n Foop n t x was dusting the seat of the aforesaid vehicle with a .piece of paper, when u gentle breeze from 'over the hills \ whisked the aforcr ontioned piece of paper from hie hands and in through the C.O’ s window. Being rather perturbed-by this un-towarc.-:incident, our friend trotted, round-' to' the Adjutant and asked him •if he could retrieve ‘the piece of ‘ ..-"'■i'--’*' ror him (must have boon some- . thing #OOQ wx-ioueb on it).
