DANCE IN TOWN HALL
A.N.A. Club Welcome To Men Of 4th Reinforcements
Flags of the Empire were festooned all about the big Town Hall on Saturday night when the Wellington A.N.A Club held a most enjoyable dance a< a welcome to men of the Fourth Rein forcements. The mayor and mayoress of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. A
Hislop, were present during the evening. Eight hundred dancers filled the hall. Many lovely frocks were worn by girl members of the club, the khaki and air force blue of uniforms making a background against which these show ad in an ever-changing scene of colour. An orchestra of 10 players played a programme of the bright musical “hits’’ if the moment. The club rooms in Willis Street were •pen as/usual and were well patronized. Che executive expresses its thanks to women of Martinborough who donated i hamper for supper.
