Appointments Made COMMISSIONED RANKS.
The following appointments of officers of the Second N.Z.E.F. were gazetted recently: Headquarters, 2nd N.Z.E.F. Base.— Lieutenant-Colonel N. S. Falla. C. D. 5.0., V.D., is appointed Commandant, 2nd N.Z.E.F. Base, with the rank of Brigadier. Colonel Sir Stephen S. Allen, K.8.E., C.M.G., D. V.D., is appointed Assistant Military Secretary with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Headquarters, 2nd N.Z. Division.— Lieutenant F. R. Fisher (17th Lancers) is appointed Aide-de-Camp to G.0.C., 2nd N.Z. Division. No. 2 General Hospital.—Lieuten-ant-Colonel F. M. Spencer, E D | M. 8., Ch.B., N.Z.M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Colonel and appointed to command the No. 2 General Hospital temporarily.
