MUSICAL REVUE STAGED BY TOC H.
An abundance of lovely Howers, ineluding cornflowers and Christmas lilies, arranged to harmonize in toning hues of red, white and blue, also sparkling Christmas decorations, cm phasized the party setting at the Tor 11 clubrooms yesterday. Red. whiti and blue jellies, set out on the te ’ tables repeated the patriotic colon! scheme. Men of all the services were well represented at the Christinaparty held last night.
Miss Roma Hoggard was responsible for the production of “Night Club.” a musical revue which was the special highlight of the evening.
All the attractive costumes and bill
let frocks worn by the Toe II girls who took part in its song and dance pre sentations had been made by the performers. who had worked hard for its success.
Other items were interspersed with community singing, entertainers win. gave their services being Mr. G. Johnson (violinist). Miss Vera Whitlock (pianist), and Mr. Gavin Stokes (guitarist). A large Christmas cake, bearing the legend. “Toe II Service Club.” was cut by a returned member of the second echelon, and distributed during the evening.
