WILLING HELPERS AT Y.W.C.A.

Large crowds enjoyed Y.W.C. A. weekend hospitality. Saturday’s dance was crowded. Captain Pearson. Trentham military / camp, took the service yesterday, and Miss A. Lawson arrang ed the concert. Kitchen helpers were members of the Lower Hutt and Eastbourne canteen groups of the W.W.S.A., under the respective conveners, Airs Clarke and Mrs. Wilkinson. Members of the St. John’s Ladies' Guild provided supper on Satuiday night.

Cloakroom helpers were members of the Miramar Townswomen’s Guild, and Mrs. Robson, for the girls, ami for the men’s, Messrs, Laking. Robson, Martin, Thompson and Brake were in charge. Generous donations of fresh vegetables were received from the Rus sell Te grace and Paraparaumu land girls of the W.W.S.A.
