New Zealand Soldiers In

Britain

The creation of a new X Z.E.F command in the United Kingdom is

provided for in regulations which have been gazetted. N.Z.E.F. soldiers in Britain will no longer be under the •ommand of the General Officer Commanding the Expeditionary Force. Major-General B. C. Freyberg V C.. but will belong to a separate command. The regulations state that there shall lie a section of the force to be mown as the United Kingdom Section, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, its composition being determined from time to time by the Army Board in New Zealand.
