WOODFORD HOUSE. OLD GIRLS ASSIST

Hostesses at the soldiers tea at the Wellington Y.M.C.A. last evening were members of the Woodford House Old Girls’ Association, with their president, Mrs. Hamilton Gilmer. Mr. J. M. A. Hott, who was accompanied by Mrs. Hott, was chairman. The programme was as follows : Songs, Miss Audrey Lawson; violin solo, Miss Pauline Craig; elocutionary numbers, Francis Walker. Miss Shirley Craig was the accompanist. Mr. H. Hindle was song leader, with Mr. J. Maun at the piano.

The usual minute’s silent prayer wa>' observed for those serving overseas Representatives of the various services thanked the hostesses for their hospitality and the artists for entertain-

ing all present.
