GREEK MILITARY CROSS
Word has been received in Invercar gill that five, senior officers of (lie N.Z.E.F. have been awarded the Greek Military Cross (first class) for distinguished service in the Greek campaign They are Major-Generals B. C. Frey beg and E. Puttick and Brigadiers J Hargest, It. Miles and 11. E. Barrow clough. The decorations were conferred in Cairo on August 27 by the Greek Minister of War.
The ribbon for the Greek- Military Cross is red and blue with a small gold crown in the centre.
