GERMAN ACE ENTERTAINS LEGLESS PILOT
The Berlin correspondent of the Associated Press says the German ' ace, Galla nd, entertained the legless pilot Wing Commander Bader, who is now a prisoner of war. Wing Commander Bader on his last flight meant tc shoot down Galland, but one of Galland’s es-
curt shot down the British ace.
Tommy (to his hostess) : May I please go home now, Mrs. Smythe? I don’t like parties very much now ’cos of the rationing.
