Y.W.C.A. PROGRAMME

Last weekend the cafeteria of the Y.W.C.A., which provides delicious meals throughout the day and even ing, was in the charge of the Y.W.C.A. Progressive Women’s Club, the Old Collegians Club, and girls from the Government Statistics Department. The usual dance was held on Saturday night and on Sunday entertainment was provided by the Wellington East Girls’ College Old Girls’ Association Dramatic Club, who presented a play, “Knitters of the Deep.” Musical items were given by Miss June Peachey and Miss R. Royds, and a

recitation by Miss J. Flack. A service was conducted by the Rev. W. Elliott.

The hostesses in charge of this weekend’s entertainment were Mesdames Pearson, Cameron and Tailby.
