Third Award This Year ,i Information has been received b\ Air Headquarters that Acting Wing Commander Samuel Charles Elworthy. A.F.C., D.F.C., R.A.F., has been awarded the Distinguished Service Order. Wing Commander Elworthy is .i New Zealander, though no record oi this officer is held at Air Headquarters. He apparently entered the R.A.F. by direct entry in the United Kingdom. He was awarded the Air Fore'-* ' Cross in January and later promoted Hom Squadron Leader to Acting Wing Commander. Last month he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, and now the D.S.O. Further information will no doubt be received by mail.
