Defeated By Pontypool
Pontypool beat, the touring New Zealand Army Rugby team, 11-3. The game was very keen, with hard struggles between the packs.- A. W. Hurst got a great penalty,goal from half-w for New Zealand in the first half. The exchanges were fairly equal in the second half, though Pontypool did the remainder of the scoring. The Pontypool Town Council enteitained the teams.
Three young plumbers are in the same tent at a militia camp and are described as being excellent soldiers. Their success in kit inspections is encouraging the profession to believe that this will finally end the old jokes about plumbers’ memories.
