WAR CASUALTIES
Airmen Killed And Missing —— The following air casualties were announced on Saturday : — Flying Officer Eric Neil Baker, re- ’ ported missing on air operations. Mother: Mrs. C. S. Baker, 31 Simla I Crescent, Khandallah, Wellington. Sergeant Noel Mizpah Stanger, R.N.Z.A.F., reported killed in an aircraft accident Sergeant Stanger was educated at the Wai mate High School. Father: Mr. P. G. Stanger, Enfield. North Otago. Sergeant R S. Callinan, R.A.F., pre* I viously unofficially reported missing, i now presumed killed. Brother: Mr. [ Callinan, 8a Hamilton Road, Herne I Bay, Auckland.
Airman Presumed Killed
The following casualty in the N.Z.E.F. was. announced yesterday: — Flying Officer John Noel Collins, i R.N.Z.A.F.. previously reported missing on air operations, now presumed killed. Next-of-kin: Mr. B. Collins, 3 ! Rangitoto Avenue. Remuera, Auckland. The following air casualty was also reported: — Sergeant John Archibald McQuarrie MacMillan, R.N.Z.A.F., reported missing on air operations. Father, Mr. J. MacMillan, 163 Anzac Place, Wanga--1 nui. Sergeant MacMillan was born in ! Scotland, but was educated in Wanganui. Before - enlistment in the'Royal New Zealand Air Force, he was employed by. the . New Zealand Railways j at Hunterville.
WANGANUI PILOT OFFICER MISSING
Pilot Officer Arthur James Falconer, who has been posted missing as a result of air operations on February 21, is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Falconer, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. He was educated at Wanganui Technical College, where he matriculated in 1933. He enlisted in October, 1939, and went overseas last june.
