TRAINING BATTALION

ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS. Additional appointments to the training battalion, which is to be used for the training of reinforcements for the Expeditionary Force, are announced by the Army authorities. Major T. A. H. Oliphant has been appointed second in command of the battalion, and the following are undergoing training at the district school at Narrow Neck prior to being given the command of companies: Major S. W. Brooker, Captain J. R. Elsbury, Lieutenants A. L. Caughey and A. P. Neesham.
