CITY BY-LAWS.
Then* is evidently a great difference between the City by-laws in our New Zealand cities as the following item from the Auckland Star clearly points out The Town Clerk in Wellington refused permission for temperance literature to he given out by W.C.T.U workers on the street. Auckland evidently allows boys to distribute advertisements for contraceptives, but a citizen expressed strong indignation, and we thank him.
