TAKING TOM.

Tottie Truelo.e, the transcendingly taking typiste, tripped through the town to the Tyro’s Tent, there to train tee-totallers to timely transfer to tho Tenbartown Tent. Thomas Tape took to trudging there, too. Thus things tended till Tottie Truelove tripped, Thomas Tape trudged, together to the Tent. Tom took to travelling to the tonsorial tradesman. Toney Tom! Treated Tittle to coffee. Then took trinkets. Took Tottie to tennis Tottie thought terpalchorean, tango twirling trivial, though tempting to Tom. Tottie ( through that tactful Tom) turned to the Tabernacle, thinking the teaching there the truest. The teacher taught theology; Tom taught tenderness. Then Tom took to thinking. “This tenements’ terribly tedious. Two together transforms tedium to thankfulness.’’ Transporting thought—“two together!” “There’s Tottie Truelove. Trim,

thrifty tee-totaller; transcendingly taking, too.” Tottie Truelove timidly thought—“ Truly Thomas Tape’s taking to this Truelove.” Thus Tom’s tender thoughts transmigrated to Tottie; Totties’ to Tom. (That’s telepathic telegraphy). Talking together, the tell-tale ticker told the time they’d tarried. They terminated the tryst thus: “Ta-ta, Tottie," (tenderly), “Ta-ta, Tom (tremulously.) “Take toll, Tottie?” “Take two, Tom?” That’s two, too! Tom took ten, then twent>, then thirty. Tenacious, triumphant Tom! The tiny tom-tits twittered, tweet, tweet. Thus things tended till travelling together through the twilight twixt towering trees they took their troth. Think the termination thyself. Then the trousseau. Then to the Tabernacle. Thomas Tape tied Tottie Truelove. Thus, Truelove turned to Tape; Tape to Truelove. Two Tape's tied; two Trucloves together, tlie total three, two taken therefrom. Tlie tintinnabulary tune told the tidings to the tarrying throng. Thenceforth Tottie transformed Tom’s tenement to thanksgiving temple. Two tongues that trilled, Two’s thoughts that thrilled: Two tempers tilled, Two tendrils twined together.
