ARAMOHO. Aug. 41. A good attendance. The Company Rule was gone through. A silent vote of sympathy was passed to Mrs Duxfield. Two recitations were given, “W hat Have WY Done To-day ?” bv Vera Gilmore, and one by Jack Whitlock. An interesting lesson, “The Soldier’s Resolve, was also given. One new subscriber to the* “Young Crusader” was re]x>rted. Sept. 14. I'he Company Rule and Res|K>nsive Kxercises were gone through. An interesting lesson was also given by Miss Burnett. I'he Band of Men y pledges were given out. HAW ERA. Officers for i<)iß are: Pres., Adelaide Wilkie; Sec., Joyce (tilling; Treas., Doris Swadling; Steward, Charlie Curtis; Supt., Mrs Curtis. July 12. President in chair; 14 members present ; one joined. Recitations and song were given. Mrs Curtis gave a reading. Julv 2b. 17 present; two new members joined. A piano solo, recitation, song, and a blackboard talk on tlr* effect of alcohol on the blood by Mrs T. W. Giiling filled the programme. Aug. <>. President in chair; i<) members; two others joined. Recitations were given b\ members. Mrs Giiling continued the series of blackboard lessons, dealing with the nerves of the* skin, and how alcohol affects that part of our body. Aug 24. 2( ) members piesent; two others joined. Recitations were given. AH repeated the 2bth Psalm, and Mrs Curtis gave a reading. Mrs Don, NX. President of W.C.T.U., uaid us 1 visit, and gave a very interesting talk on “Water,” which was enjoyed by all. The Company Rule is recited at ea- h meeting, also the Motto and Salute given. ARAMOHO. Sept. 8. };'. Bathgate in chair. Instructive lesson, “Hiawatha,” bv Miss Burnett. Band of Mercy pledges given out, and 14 signed them. Sept. 22. Good attendance, President presiding. Pledges. Salute, and Rally Crv. Practised Young Crusader songs. Recitations and dialogues by members.
