Licensing Laws.
There is little need to draw attention to licensing affairs. If the Premier is a wise man he will not attempt to carry into effect his proposal to abolish elected licensing committees in favour of benches of magistrates. And the wide-spread indignation felt with regard to Bruce and Newtown will certainly make licensing amending legislation a question of serious consideration during the present session.
