Dear Sisters,— ln accordance with a suggestion made at our last Convention, I am now able to offer to you the following papers for use at your evlu tional meetings:— No. I.—“ Our Genesis,” a booklet. No. II.—“ The Effect of Alcohol on the Heart,” by Mrs Ritchie, of Kaiapoi. No. III.—“ Juvenile Work,” by Miss McCarthy, of Dunedin. No. IV.—“ Hints on Canvassing for the Local Option Poll,” by M. S. Powell. Any Union applying to me may have the loan of above as soon as prior applicants have been satisfied. Conditions will be found attached to each, the principal one being that the paper l>e passed on the day after being read. Unions will kindly state, when applying, the date for which the paper is required. As number four is specially intended for use before the election, I should like to suggest that it should be kept moving briskly. Any Union possessing valuable papers will greatly oblige by handing them over to me as soon as finished with, so that above 1 it may be augmented. To country Unions especially these papers are a boon. Yours in the work, M. S. Powell. 28, Windmill Road, Christchurch.
