Porangahau News.
The Ladies' Guild have decided to hold a Bazaar m Porangahau on Friday, December 10th. It is hoped that all those interested m the Church and its work will do their utmost to make the Bazaar a success. If each one will do his or her share success should not be difficult. Unfortunately we cannot go ahead without money. The Synod of the Diocese has recommended that every parish should adopt the Duplex scheme for raising funds. This will, as soon as possible, be placed before the vestry, and if it receives their support, as we trust it will, meetings will be called m the different centres of the parish, so as to place before the, people the whole scheme. If it is adopted it will mean a big increase m our finances for the Church here and abroad.
