Holy Trinity, Gisborne.

The four Sunday Schools of the parish have reopened with a good number of scholars and teachers. Two more teachers are needed for Holy Trinity Sunday School. Who will offer to help with, Christ's little ones?

All the Church organisations have begun work again. At the annual meeting of Holy Trinity Girls' Club, Miss. Eileen Davies was made life patroness of the club, after having held the office of president for seven years. Miss Ivy Crawford, a worthy successor, was elected president m her place. The Hoiy Trinity Ladies' Guild intends holding a Sale of "Work m July. Please watch the daily papers, and send donations of work and. goods to the sale, which is m aid of the church. The choirmaster of Holy Trinity Church is urgently needing two altos for the choir. Who will volunteer?

Miss Alice Jones, a Maori Mission student, gave an interesting talk to the members of the Girls' Club, lately on "The Care of Infants," which was listened to. with great interest.

A memorial service was held on May 10th to William Massey, our late beloved Prime Minister, when the "Vicar referred m his sermon to the niany noble qualities m the character of William Massey. The organist, Mr E. N. Sidebottom, played "0 Rest m the Lord" as a voluntary, and the "Dead March" m Saul.

The members of the Church of the Resurrection are considering' ways and means for building a Sunday School, the church being far too small to hold all the children.

A Quiet Day has been arranged for the Associate members of our branch of the Fraternity of the Resurrection to be held at the residence of Archdeacon H. Williams, "Naurea," from June 2nd to 4th, the conductor being Archdeacon Cowie, of Hamilton. At the annual meeting of the Fraternity of . the Resurrection, which was held at the Vicarage, an interesting address was given by Archdeacon Williams on the work of the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfiel'cl. The Archdeacon dscribed, m a vivid manner, his recent visit to the Community

House. A number of beautiful postcard views of the House and grounds were handed round at the close of the meeting. The branch of the Fraternity of the Resurrection m Gisborne supports a native boy, Tatarira, m the Penhalonga School, South Africa.
