Dannevirke.
We had a good annual meeting of parishioners. The following officers
were elected : — Vicar 's warden, Mrs W. F. Knight; people's warden, Mr C. J. Johnston; vestry, Mrs -Craven, Messrs Soundy, Graham, Russell, Weavers, Ruby, Hansard, and Collettj Synodsmanj Mr H. Graham. The balance-sheet showed a total income of over £2000 including new car £270 and collections for new chancel £780. It was decided that the new chancel was to cost not less than £3000. Messrs Ruby and Hansard have taken m hand the canvass for donations. We hope to be building m about a year's time.
