Hundreds are orphans and hundreds also are fatherless. We regard them as being, "m trust" for the Empire for which their fathers fought. T^his, branch of (Dhurch . Army work costs £20,000 a year. emigrants from the Church Army arrived m the s.s. Mamari on September 20th. Four .families were on board, and were met at Dune-din by the C.E.M;S. Twelve additional families are either on the water, or will start by the end of October. The destinations and letters of introduction are forwarded from the New Zealand secretary to Rev. W. Bullock, G.E.M.S., who will make ar- '■' rangements to meet and welcome them at the ports of arrival. Mr Bullock, writing on October 6th, ■ says that the C.E.M.S. "Immigrants' [Welcome Campaign" for funds, had just reached the full £1000.
