TARADALE.
We commenced our meetings this year on Monday, March 25th. Since then as nearly as possible we have met once a fortnight on Monday evenings. During the winter the attendance was small, but now that the weather is more settled we hope to see an improvement. This year we again sewed for the Missionary Sale of Work, which took place on September 18th. We had hoped to strike out for ourselves and have a Garden ,Party and small Sale of Work. That, however, had to be abandoned. We hope to be more successful next ye a r. We held our Intercessional Services on June 24th, that being the date nearest to June 20th on which it was convenient for us to have a service. The Rev. A. P. Clarke kindly conducted the service. During the year we have held two Socials, one on April 17th and the other on August 6th, both of which were well attended and very successful. At the beginning of the 3 r ear we decided to charge a small admission to our Socials. Since then we have decided to hand the funds thus obtained to All Saints' Piano Fund. We are looking forward to another Social on October 9th, which will be the last for the year. We hope to keep on our meetings till the end of November. E. O. SMART, Branch Secretary.
