PORT AHURIRI.

We re-opened here on March 28th, 1912. Miss Smith, of the C.M.A., kindly gave us a talk on her work m the mission field, with the result that a Sale of Work was started, the proceeds of which are to be divided into three parts — one-third to go towards the extension of God's kingdom m India, one-third to our Vicar (Mr. Dean) to help pay for the new organ at Westshore, and a third to be kept for the working of the Branch next year. Our Sale of Work has meant so much work that we have only been able to have one Social, but hope to have a Gift Kvening during the month to help on our sale, which is to be held the fourth week m November, m Mrs. Stopford's garden, kindly lent, for the occasion. Mesdames Leask and Miller have given us two very interestingBible readings . ",' '

We hope to have an Admission Service before long. The attendance for the year has been very good. M.'.C. HUNTER, Branch Secretary.
