Professor Parker drew attention to skeletons of rhinoceros, moose, eland, and elephant lately added to the Museum, and to the polished transverse section of a large kauri-tree presented by the Public Works Department. The Secretary read a paper by Mr. D. Petrie, entitled “Descriptions of New Native Plants.” (Transactions, p. 405.)
