Professor Parker exhibited and made remarks upon the leg of a moa (Megalapteryx) recently found in a cave at the Old Man Range, at the head of the Waikaia River. The specimen, which is the property of Mr. A. Hamilton, is in a remarkably fine state of preservation, considerable portions of skin, muscle, tendons, and feathers being retained, the study of which has added several minor facts to our knowledge of the Dinornithida.
