Alice Ruth, charged with disobeying a summons to appear at the Mayor’s Court, Dunedin, to answer a charge of using obscene language, has been arrested by the Port Chalmers police.

Robert Augustus Butterfield, charged, on warrant issued by the Bourke Bench, N.S.W., with bigamy, has been arrested by Constable Anderson, Dunedin police, and remanded for a month.

The warrant issued for the arrest of Edward Hodson Palmer, charged with embezzlement whilst employed asteller and. accountant of the Branch Bank of Australasia, Hobart Town, has been withdrawn.‘ .

Albert Henry Lee, the offender described as suspected of having stolen the clothing- from the hut of Thomas Newton, Dome Station, Lowther, has been arrested by Constable Wohlmann, the stolen property recovered, and prisoner sentenced to three months’ labor.

The steers and heifers reported as stolen from Ballirigdon Station, • Waikouaiti, the property of Donald M'Leod, have been recovered.

The dog reported as stolen on the 4th January last, from Boyes Bros., Home Station, Frankton Falls, has been found by the Oamaru police in possession of Peter Meehan, at present in custody.
