A warrant has been issued by the Dunedin Bench for the apprehension of John Gumming, charged with deserting his family. He is described as being about 20 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, stout build, fresh complexion, black curly hair, no whiskers, dark eyes, wears a small goatee beard, a native of'Devonshire, England. Left Hokitiki about a month since in the “ John Bullock,” and now supposed to be in the Province of Nelson. V '
