' - Stoic n about the beginning of August, 1863, from Kourow, one flea-bitten mare,' almost white, branded M (JML) . conjoined near shoulder, and her fill}’, rising 3 years’ ;old, same brand ; - the property of Mr.'Monteath.
■; Stolen on the 30th October, 1863, from Post Office Creek, Waipori, a black gelding, 5 years old, 15 hands high, branded MC on near shoulder, blaze down face, 'white spot under.' near eye, hind fetlocks white, the property of Carleton Parkinson, of Post Office Creek.

Stolen on the 29th October, 1863, from the vicinity of the Surveyors’ Tent, Waikouaiti, a black horse, 6 years old, 15 hands high,' branded with a large blotch on near . shoulder, -girth galled on near side, short marie and tail, a lump oil off check bone, a few white hairs - on. forehead, £2 reward on recovery.
Stolen at 5 a.m. on the 3,lst of October, 1863, from near the Exhibition Boarding House, 6 miles from the Waipori, a light 1 ay horse, between .1,3 and 14 hands high, branded M on near shoulder, star ,on forehead, short , tail, appearance ■; stiff in - both. fore legs,' ’the property; of, Mr. Edward Keaton, of Wetherstones. - Suspicion attaches to .a man, about 27 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high,. wore a dark monkey jacket and a wide-a- fiat'. ;

Stolen on the 2nd December, 1862, from Brannockburn, near • Kawarau,. a brown draught horse, 6 years old, small star on forehead, collar marked, ’ branded JD over 'PC near ‘shoulder, ’in good condition, the property of Mr. John'S. Dodds, of Breadalbane, North Taieri, who has guaranteed a reward of £5 on conviction of the offender.
