Found in the possession of James Dunn,: ((convicted of stealing at Nelson,) supposed to be stolen, and for which owners are required, 1 gold engine-turned . hunting watch, enaramelled dial, sunk, seconds, steel hands, No. 15495, with snake chain and key, 1 electrogilt open face watch, chased, gilt dial, No. ; 1 ivory pocket telescope, gilt mounting; 1 gold ring with cameo head and wings; 1 ■gold pin with dark stone ; 1 do. do. brilliant, set in a bird’s claw ; 1 pear handle knife with ii blades; and several gilt watch guards of •light fabric.

Found in the possession of John, James, and Thomas Frost, now under committal for trial for horse stealing, and supposed to be ■stolen, a bay horse, draught breed, 15 hands, black points, saddle marked, white spots on both sides, branded JJ near neck, J OB conjoined off neck.

Lost between the hours of 4 and 5 p.m., the 17th November, 1863, near Cargill Hill, Dunedin, from the person of John Burgess, a brown leather pocket book, containing five £5 ■ notes, twelve £1 notes, 5 sovereigns, a receipt for £lO5 paid for a grey horse, a promissory note drawn by himself upon and accepted by James Cushnie, and an 10 U for £4O from James Milne.

Lost on the 6th November, 1863, from the person of Robert Gibson, at the Mount llindon Diggings, a gold bunting lever watch, maker James Patterson, Royal Exchange, Loudon, No. 21712.
