PROPERTY STOLEN, OR LOST.
; Stolen on the Bth May, .1863, from an unfinished building at Caversham the following carpenters’.tools, the property of John Brown, of the Edinburgh Castle,Caversham: —1 trying plane, 1, smoothing do.,' 3 chisels f inch, inch, and inch and a half, 1 oil stone 9 inches long, one 1 £-inch augur, point broken, 1 brass mounted mortice guage, 1 bevel brace and bits, some gimblets, 1 American claw hammer, and a new tool basket. The whole of the articles can be identified.
Lost in Stuart street, Dunedin, on 6th May, 1863, a small Scotch terrier dog, tan color, ears foxed, rough shaggy hair ; answers to the name of “ Dot.” ' The above is the property of Mr. MacGregor, Solicitor, Dunedin.
Stolen some time during the last week, from an unoccupied house, at the corner of Dundas"
and Forth Streets, North Dunedin, 1 W e bedroom plate-glass mirror, mahogany frame with two drawers, a little of the veneering off the frame, the property of Charles Russell of Alma House, Upper Harbour. The glass is identifiable. : °
