MISSING FRIENDS.
: Missing since the 16th January, 863, from the ' Golden Age steamboat, - while ' lying “at Port Chalmers, Alexander Leys, the chief engineer, 50 years old, sft. 0 or 11 in. high, grey hair and whiskers, bald on the top of his head, stoops ; dressed in monkey jacket, light trousers, and felt hat ; reported to have been seen on the diggings at Miller’s Flat, Molyneux River about 6or 7 weeks ago. £5 Reward will be paid by Mr. Greer, agent for the Golden Age on receipt of intelligence where he is to be found.
Information is requested respecting a Frenchman named Niesurt Benjamin Victor, who is supposed to have arrived in New - Zealand sometime during last year from Melbourne. -.The only description furnished; is that he is from 25 to 30 years old.
Information is repuested of the present address of James Barber, a wheelwright,' who left Hobart Town, in the month of July last for Melbourne, and has not since been heard of. He is 29 years old, 6ft. high, black hair, long visage, dark sallow complexion. '
. Information is requested respecting' Philip Horton, who, in November last, had a box and its contents stolen from him at Oxford Station, near Melbourne, Victoria, for which offence William Joseph Hassail has 1 been arrested. - Information to Chief . Commissioner of Police, Victoria.
Information is requested of the present address o! Thos. Winterbourne, Dunstan, formerly of Ballarat, Victoria, now supposed to be in Dunedin. He is 24 years of age, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, stout built, dark brown hair, light beard and moustache, brown eyes. Information to Chief Commissioner of Police, Victoria.
