His Lordship Bishop Brodie arrived in Waimate on Friday, October 19. On Saturday evening he made the visitation of the church, after which the Rosary was recited, followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. His Lordship celebrated the 9 o'clock Mass on Sunday, and also preached at the 11 o'clock Mass. In the afternoon at 2.30 he administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to* over 80 children. . .
