(From our own correspondent.) October 4. . At the recent examination in book-keeping and typewriting held at St. Joseph’-s Cqnvent, Paeroa, in

connection with the National Business College, Sydney, all the candidates (pupils of the Sisters of St. Joseph) passed with honors. The principal of the college expressed great satisfaction at the thoroughness, of the* work done by these students. The results are as folfollow: —Book-keeping—Rosa Hargreaves, 98 (honors) Rhoda Hamilton, 96 (honors) Eileen Tukuino, 92 (honors) ; May Gambling, 90 (honors).
