The following is a list of successes achieved by the pupils of St. Benedict’s School, Newton, at the No-vember-December examinations:-Teacher’s Certificate, £ D ’ examination—Eva, Simms and Johanna Fitzgerald ; Intermediate and senior free —Edward Treacy j Junior free place —Doris Kelly, Rita Williams, Nora Monaghan, Greta Tonks, and Kathleen Caldwell. Twenty proficiency certificates were also gained.
