Fat Cattle — 112 yarded. Steers brought £10 15s to £12 10s ; heifers, £6 10b to £8 ; light cows, £6 to £8 10a ; heavier, £9 to £10 2u 6d ; extra prime, £11 to £13 2= 6d. Prime beef, 32a to 35s and up to 37a 6d per 1001 b ; lighter, 28s to 31s.
Fat Sheep. — 3500 penned, inolnding a few prime lines of wethers and ewea. There was a strong demand, both for local consumption and freezing, and prices advanced all round. Heavy weathers fetched 22a to 24a 6d ; freezers, 18s to 21s j lighter, 163 6i to 17s 6d ; extra prime heavy ewes, 26s to 325, and up to 383 ; prime, 18s to 24a 6d ; others, 15s to 17s 6J ; merino wethers, 17a 2d to 18s 4d ; shorn crossbred wethers, 15a lid.
