Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :— There, was a very small and mixed entry at our sale on Saturday, and nothing worthy of special notice. Only about half a dozen useful draughts were forward, and changed hands as follows : Chestnut colt, four years old, a nice useful horse, £34 ; bay gelding, £32 ; bay gelding, £28 ; bay gelding, " £22 ; chestnut gelding, broken to chains only, £16. We quote : Superior young draught geldings, £40 to £45.; extra good, prize horses, £50 to £60 ; medium mares and geldings, £28 to £38 ; aged, £18 to £25 ; carriage horses, £25 to £30 ; matched pairs, £65 to £80 ; good, quiet buggy horses, £18 to £25.
