London, March t>. — At the tallow sales 1175 casks were offered and 141 sold. Mutton : Fine, 2i'a 3d ; medium, 27a. Beef : Fine, 27b 6d ; medium, 265.
London, March 7. — The Antwerp wool sales have opened. Prices for merino are on a par with January rates ; crossbred showed a decline of five to 10 centimes. One thousand and eightyseven bales of Australian were offered and sold at prices equalling those at last London sales. London, March 10. — At the sheepskin sales there was fair competition. Merino were unchanged, and there was less demand for crossbred, which showed a five per cent, decline. The Antwerp wool sales are closed. Prices remain unchanged. Only half of the Ilivcr Plate wools offered were sold.
Meßßrß. Stronach Bros, and Morris report aa follows :—: — Rabbitskins— Market very firm. Winter greys, lGd to 17d ; Springs, 8d to 13£ d ; Summers, fid to 9d ; small, 3d to 5Jd per lb. Sheepskins — Market firm at late quotations. Hides — In good demand. Prime heavy ox, 4d to 4jd ; medium, 3}d to 3 Jd. Cow hides, 3d to 3jd per lb. Tallow — Best rendered mutton, 17a to ISs Gd ; medium, 14s 6d to 16s ; rough, 11s Od to 13s per cwt.
