London, March 7. —The wheat marketß generally are steady, but the Paris and Berlin are weaker. Cargoes are neglected and unchanged. Thirty shillings and ninepence is asked for Victorian, off coast. Butter : Slow. Choicest colonial, 104s ; Danish (dull), unchanged. London, March 10. —Frozen Meat —Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes — Dunedin and Southland, 4sd ; other aorta, (including River Plate) are unchanged. Lamb : Fair average, 5Jd ; prime, unchanged. We quote • Prime milling, Is Gd to Is6£d ; pood to best feed, Id 4 id to Is s^d ; medium, Is 3d to Is 4 Jd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat — Prime milling is in fair demand at late values. Medium sorts are not in favor with buyers, but fowls' wheat meets with Borne demand at lute quotations*. We quote : Prime milling, 2s 6d to 2a 7d ; medium, 2s 3d to 2s 5d ; whole fowls' wheat, 2s to 2s 2d ; broken, etc., Is 8d to Is lid per bushel (sacks in). Potatoes — Heavy supplies came forward for sale to-day, and prices obtained show a decline of 15s to 2Us on those of las*t week. Best Derwents sold at L 4 to L 4 5s — choice to LI 7a 6d ; medium, L 3 10a to L 3 1 5s ; kidneys, L 3 5s to L 4 per tou (aackn in). Chaff — The market is fully supplied, and prie< b for nearly all classes are a shade weaker. We sold best oaten sheaf at L 2 7s 6d to L 2 10s — extra heavy to L 2 12a 6d ; medium to good, LI 153 to L 2 5s per ton (sacks extra). Messrs. Stronach Bros, and Morris report as follows :—: — WHEAT — No change in values to report. Prime milling Velvet and Tuscan, 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; medium, 2s 3d to 2s 5d ; fowl wheat, 2s to 2s 2d ; do., broken, Is Sd to Is lid per bushel, sacks in. Oats — Market unchanged. Milling, Is 6d to Is 6^d ; good to best feed, Is 6d to Is 6d ; medium, Is :Ud to Is 4id per bushel, sacks extra. Chaff— Market fully supplied. Prime oaten sheaf, L27s Gd to L 2 12s 6d ; medium, L 2 to L 2 5s per ton ; bags extra. Potatoes— Owing to large quantities coming forward prices have declined 15s to 20s per ton.
