It then continues: — ■' There was a correspondence in the Slu i leointlv. .ni»ing out of the Spanish- American war, and one of thepirticipants was a minister of a Non-conformist conventicle wherein the uitiuugir of the Star is a shining light. Strange to say, since then all .sorts of articles from obscure corners have been raked up, and the thing has been so glaring that I believe some of the directors have noticed it. and are beginning to ask awkward questions.'
