The annual distribution of prizes took place at St. Mary's High. School yesterday. After the usual programme of music, singing and recitation the prizes were distributed by the Rev. Dean Mackav as follows :— J

At the conclusion the Very Rev. Dean Mackay thanked the children for the programme given, and expressed much pleasure at the progress made in the different branches. The wreath for good conduct and general amiability was then given to K. Hannon awai ded by the votes of her companions. '
