Messrs Wright. Stkphknsoi* asd Co, report »» follow! ;— There was an unusually large attendance at our sale on Saturday. A very strong desand was experienced for all torts- The best competition was for really good mares or geldings, for tbe latter chiefly from town buyers, who were present in force. We quote — For first-class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LlB to L 22 j medium, Ll2 <o Ll6 ; aged, L 6 to LlO ; good hacks and harness horses, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium, L 7 to L 9 ; light and inferior, L 2 10s to L 5.
