DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
Messrs Weight, Stephrnson and Co. report as follows :— In consequence of Saturday being a rac day we held our weekly sale to-day. There was a moderately large number of horses forward, but, as is generally the case on an eff-d^v, the at endance was very small and the demand unsatisfactory. We offered a draft of useful unbrofcen saddle nrd harness horses and a number of good draughts, a fair portion of which changed hands. Our weekly sale will be held as u«u il next Saturday. We quote : For firet-cl.iss draughts (extra heavy), £25 to £30; good ordinary draughts (young), £18 to £22 ; nedium draughts, £12 to £16; agpd draughrp, £6 to £10; good hacks and har'esi horses, £12 to £16; medium hacks and harness horsps, £7 to £!); lio;b.t and interior hacks and harness bo rßes,r Bes, £2 10a to £5.
