Messrs Stbonach Bbos. and Mokbis report as follows :— Store Cattle — The demand for these still continues, and all lots offering are easily disposed of at prices equal to recent quotations. Btore Bbeep are Belling well, other country sales which are now being held in all parts of the province bring forward buyers for all lots offered. Prices continue about the same, a fair number having been placed privately during the past week. Grain — Wheat : continues low but oats ate decidedly firm the demand showing a slight increase, in constquence piices, eorjecially for medium description 0 , may bj quoted at Id dearer. The floods in Qieensland will no doubt cause values to harden dviii g the coming pea«on. Sheepskins — Our weekly sale was smaller than usuil, values unchanged. Rabbits'nns — The numbers comin? forward are still small although at our sale this week we had a fairly large catalogue. C ,mpetition remains firm and nil descriptions are readily placed at recently quo'ed prices. Grass S.ed— Very little doing, but prices about the same.
